This role is within a paper recycling facility based in Nottingham
This role is based outside within a yard environment and requires manual handling
Experience working in the Recycling Industry is preferred for this role.
There is a requirement to operate FLT with clamps.
To be able to use Office based IT packages.
Experience with moffat /bobcat/ JCB is desirable addition.
The role also has a requirement for hands on manual labour .Sorting paper and card when required .
- To comply with all Smurfit Kappa Recycling Safe Systems of Work (SSWs) and Risk Assessments (RAs).
- To operate all baling equipment including resolving any issues which arise.
- To present material for sale which may require hand sorting.
- To ensure quality of all material processed.
- To load and unload vehicles using forklift trucks with clamp attachments.
- To be able to use office packages such as Excel and in house systems to monitor flows / stock levels/ KPI
- To comply with all health and safety requirements, ensuring all colleagues and visitors operate in a safe manner whilst on site, and highlight any issues to the Production Manager in a timely manner

Salary: £26,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
