Kō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
We’re seeking a motivated person for this exciting new role in our hardworking and dynamic Utilities team. You will provide essential organisational and administrative support across our team of engineers, supporting the management of Nelson City critical infrastructure. Being a new position, there is plenty of scope to chart your own course and make the role your own. You will also be involved in monitoring and collating data, budget support and invoicing, and providing excellent service to our internal and external customers.
This is a full-time, 3-year fixed term role.

As a first point of contact for the team, you will have a strong customer service focus, being helpful and respectful when handling customer enquiries. You will be system savvy, enjoy collaboration and utilising a problem-solving mindset to assist and support the team where needed.
Time management skills, attention to detail, great communication and coordination skills as well as a good sense of humour are essential for this role. We are looking for a positive attitude and ability to be prepared to take on new challenges as they are presented. You will also love finding better ways of doing things!
