Responsibilities:
- Oversee design and implementation of solar projects ensuring that best practices are being followed and all regulatory standards are being conformed with across Pakistan.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and requirements in Pakistan.
- Hire and manage a team of engineers and technicians who will work under your guidance.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to select the best equipment, panels, and inverters required for designing the system.
- Oversee project management process, ensures the team meets timelines, budget requirements and quality standards. Manage associated risks and contingency planning.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team and work with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project lifecycle.
- Continuously research and learn about new developments in the solar industry and identify improvements in existing systems.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in the solar industry
- Excellent managerial skills
- Knowledge of electrical and solar designing
- Ability to manage a large team and handle tough deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams based in different countries.
