PTC, a global provider of CAD, PLM, IoT and AR solutions, is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join one of our teams at the development center in Haifa, Israel.
The Onshape Assembly team is part of a global group - PTC SaaS business, responsible for making new enhancements in the Assembly product and maintaining existing the Assembly features. The goal of this team is to make Onshape Assembly the best in the industry in its ease of use and scalability.
This team is part of the bigger Modeling Assembly team, which is one of the essential modeling tools users need for product design - making it the best in class is necessary for PTC and Onshape’s success.
As part of your job at PTC, you will:
- Program in different programming languages for various parts of the stack.
- Write automated tests for the newly added code.
- Design and implement new features and functionalities.
- Review code written by peers.
- Communicate technical design and delivery-schedules with peers.
- Work with other teams in refining project specifications.
- Focus on delivering high quality product and great user experience.

Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or similar degree.
- Strong C++ and/or Java understanding and programing.
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-sufficient and proactive.
- Effective communication, comfortable working collaboratively on projects.
