Keywords Studios Manila is seeking a highly motivated and experienced 3D Art Lecturer with relevant AAA+ game experience.
This is a new, full-time position will be required to provide high quality industry relevant teaching across our creative program, with a focus on delivering specialist content for our 3D Course. Main responsibilities will include providing instruction and guidance to students pursuing a career in the games industry.

Responsibilities
- Go through training materials with students, including lesson plans, presentations, assignments and assessments to ensure delivery of engaging and effective classes for students.
- Conduct lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to teach students various aspects of 3D art, including asset production pipelines, design workflows, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on work to facilitate student growth.
- Demonstrate techniques, tools, and software applications commonly used in the 3D art industry – desired but not limited to Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, zBrush etc.
- Provide hands-on guidance to ensure a strong foundation of technical skills
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in 3D art and design, including emerging tools, techniques, and industry trends.
- Continuously improve your own skills and knowledge to deliver up-to-date, relevant instruction.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts by participating in events, such as open houses and career fairs, to promote the program and attract prospective students.
- Engage with the wider community through outreach activities to raise awareness of the program.
- Foster and maintain relationships with industry professionals, studios, and organizations. Seek opportunities for collaboration, internships, guest lectures, and industry projects to provide students with real-world experiences.
Requirements
- Teaching groups of students (varying ages) the fundamentals of 3D game asset production
- Previous industry experience at a AAA level required
- Experience of 3D asset production and design workflows
- In-depth knowledge of AAA hard-surface, organic, environment, vehicle, and prop asset production
- Strong knowledge of Character and creature asset production
- Familiar with 3D Sculpting and high-poly workflows
- In-depth knowledge of technical art, terrain generation and procedural workflows
- Good understanding of material generation and lighting for in-game and real-time assets
- Strong familiarity with Unreal Engine and other industry leading game engines
Successful candidates will have a portfolio of 3D art covering multiple application disciplines, including, Environments, Characters, Hard Surfaces, and/or Props and a proven record of accomplishment of working as 3D lecturer. The role will be in our studio in Manila which is located in Ortigas.
