Now we are seeking a Document Controller responsibel for the document management in Seaonics and for developing the project documentation storage structure and relevant processes and procedures in accordance with Seaonics standards.
Key information
Duties and responsibilities
- Follow up progress on documentation delivery and coordinate with planners, technical resources and project managers
- Actively contribute to creating and using the document registry (Master Document List/MDL) as part of daily work
- Review and control generic document information (document styles, title fields, headers, footers etc) of prepared documents, according to company standards
- Organize and handle production documentation, certificates, test reports, manuals and other relevant documentation in projects.
- Coordinate and arrange end user documentation bundles
- Send and receive transmittals to and from customers and suppliers and store these appropriately according to company standards. Update MDL and Transmittals.
- Organize printing of hardcopies when necessary
- Support project manager in establishment of project structures and systems (Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence, project milestones etc.)
- Provide support in organization for administration of document storage solution
Qualifications
- Relevant higher education, or other relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and experience related to the accountability and tasks.
- Good knowledge of English, oral and written.
- Good cultural understanding.
- Knowledge about principle of Business Processes.
- Knowledge of ship building process and integrated planning.
