Lightspeed is looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our growing EMEA team. You will be assisting the Account Management team in achieving their growth and retention goals, by managing inbound traffic and supporting the team with their daily tasks. This role is a stepping stone to becoming an Account Manager at Lightspeed and unlocking a lucrative and meaningful sales career!
What you'll be doing:
- Identify opportunities and maximize growth for our current customers, primarily through telephone and email communication
- Nurture inbound leads through to qualification for the account management team
- Coordinate customer escalations and assist with retention initiatives
- Assist with administrative and post-sale tasks
- Manage multiple lead sources, including incoming calls, emails, and chats
- Manage existing customer database using Salesforce, to ensure all communications are logged and identified
- Work with the Team Lead of Account Management to develop new strategies to grow current sales pipeline, remove obstacles from the account managers and consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual team goals
- Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management
What you need to bring:
- You are a people person, naturally competitive, and have a passion for sales;
- You love a challenge, and you're not afraid to speak your mind, get stuck in and share your ideas;
- You thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment;
- You have experience in customer facing work environments with a high level of engagement.
- Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment;
- Preferred but not mandatory - Retail experience;
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
