We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as Head of School Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-growing, international environment. As our Head of School Office you will report to the Head of Operations of Akademeia High School and will be primarily responsible for ensuring that all communication and organization at the school runs smoothly, which will mainly involve:
- managing the school’s office and reception team (2-3 persons), including delegation of tasks and oversight of all internal procedures and processes
- overseeing a school nurse with liaison with head of logistics
- managing the communication between parents, teachers and students
- ensuring that all administrative procedures adhere to the national and international requirements
The above responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- managing school calendar, including external events with liaison with other school departments
- managing book orders for teachers and students
- overseeing data inputs to the school internal operating system (ASIMS) and to System Informacji Oświatowej (SIO);
- Managing substitutions for absent teachers; substitutions due to events, will be coordinated with Head of Operations
- supporting the Admissions team during recruitment events (Open Days and assessment weekends)
- support in administration of internal and external exams
- attending operation’s meetings with members of other departments
- managing budgets related to all processes coordinated by the school office
- Coordinating Parents-Teachers Evenings: Organizing meetings between teachers and parents, ensuring that all parties are informed about the schedule, and managing any required resources or facilities
Our requirements
Essential:
- Experience in managing people and teams
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good team player with positive attitude at all times
- Fluent English and Polish speaker
- Educated to a higher degree level
